I am a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a focus on surgical gynecology and have been in private practice for more than two decades. My practice is centrally located in Küsnacht (Zurich). The empathetic, respectful and committed specialist consultation and care is an important concern for me and my team.

In addition to basic gynecological-obstetrical care, over the years I have developed a focus and special interest in surgical activities in the gynecological field. From the initially traditional spectrum of operations through abdominal incision or vaginal access, the interventions have visibly developed in the direction of laparoscopic or "keyhole surgery". I am particularly interested in endometriosis, infertility and minimally invasive hysterectomy.

I also take great pleasure in accompanying my patients through their pregnancy to delivery at the Hirslanden Clinic in Zurich. I attach great importance to being able to offer practice and hospital activities "from a single source": "In the event of an operation or birth, I will accompany you in the affiliated hospital and will also be responsible for you there around the clock." This extremely popular service is available either with supplementary hospital insurance (private or semi-private) or with an upgrade.

We are pleased to be able to offer an additional, attractive service in the Gyné Lang group practice. Prof. Dr. Stephan Lautenschlager is the head physician for dermatology at the Stadtspital Triemli and conducts a consultation every 2 weeks. The spectrum covers the entire dermatology including skin cancer screening with evaluation of moles as well as gyneco-dermatology in particular.

Registrations are accepted at our reception or via the practice telephone (Dr. Lang +41 44 912 25 25).

Consultation hour online practice

No waiting time for an appointment, no need to travel and yet competent dermatological advice within a short time: thanks to the online platform derma2go, developed by Swiss dermatologists, you now have the opportunity to clarify your questions about skin problems easily and securely online. Through his online practice, Prof. Dr. med. Stephan Lautenschlager will answer your inquiry within 24 hours, Monday through Friday, in the form of a diagnosis and medication recommendation for the therapy of the skin problem. Should he ever be absent, derma2go will forward your inquiry to a specialist in the nearby vicinity.

For the online consultation, all you need is Internet access and good quality photos of the skin problem (e.g. photos taken with a cell phone), which you submit along with a brief description of the symptoms. The service, which costs CHF 75, can be paid for using common payment methods such as PayPal or credit cards. Please note that the costs are currently only covered by a few health insurance companies.
